Hello!

Our names are Tolli and Heiða. we are a married couple. Tolli is from Tröllatunga a farm in northern Iceland and is a car mechanic. I grew up in Hafnarfjörður and am a horticulturist. Together we have 3 daughters and 3 grandchildren.

Besides being partners, we share a love for our home country of Iceland. Specifically, we are endeared with the southern Highlands which we have been exploring for 30 years now. This area of Iceland is magical and because it can only be experienced by driving off-road jeeps, you get to see the world the way it has been for ages. A few years ago we decided we wanted to share this magical place with others and we started UPPLAND. Our jeeps are specially built by Tolli and can go anywhere in this region with a very minimal impact on the environment. And our day trips focus on getting you to some of the most beautiful places on earth while learning and getting to know the Icelandic culture.
